Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 8 April 2026

This page explains how to request the deletion of data that Zanzero Investments Ltd (trading as SitePost) has obtained from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through your use of our platform at sitepost.co. If you have connected a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to SitePost, the information below describes what data we store and how you can have it removed.

What data we store from Meta

When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account to SitePost, we receive and store the following data from Meta:

  • Facebook Page names, IDs, and categories
  • Instagram professional account usernames, IDs, and follower counts
  • Encrypted access tokens for publishing on your behalf
  • Published post records (post IDs, captions, timestamps)
  • Engagement analytics (likes, comments, shares) for posts published through SitePost

How to delete your Meta data

You can request deletion of your Meta-derived data using any of the three methods below.

Method 1: Disconnect from SitePost dashboard

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Social Accounts, then click Disconnect next to the Facebook or Instagram account you wish to remove. This immediately revokes the stored access tokens for that account. Historical post records are retained for your reference, but no further API access to your Meta account occurs.

Method 2: Remove SitePost from your Meta account

Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites) → find SitePost→ click Remove. Meta will notify us via our data deletion callback, and we will purge all stored tokens and Meta-derived identifiers within 48 hours.

Method 3: Email request

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Meta Data Deletion Request” and include your SitePost workspace name and the Meta account(s) you want purged. We will confirm completion within 5 business days.

What happens when data is deleted

When we process a deletion request for your Meta data, the following actions are taken:

  • Encrypted access tokens are permanently erased from our database.
  • The social account record is marked as disconnected; no further API calls are made to Meta on your behalf.
  • Published post records (captions, timestamps) are retained unless you explicitly request their removal, as they form part of your SitePost workspace history.
  • Engagement analytics snapshots are deleted along with the account connection.
  • Audit log entries recording the deletion are retained for compliance purposes.

Verification

After deletion, you can verify that your Meta data has been removed by:

  • Checking your SitePost dashboard — the account will show as disconnected.
  • Checking Facebook Settings → Business Integrations— SitePost should no longer appear (if removed from the Meta side).
  • Contacting [email protected] to request written confirmation of deletion.

Automated deletion callback

When Meta sends us a data deletion request (for example, when you remove SitePost from your Facebook settings), our system automatically processes the request and provides a confirmation code. You can check the status of any automated deletion at sitepost.co/data-deletion/status (coming soon).
